In July 2015 I went to Austin, Texas, thanks to the collaboration of Finnish and Danish songwriter associations with the House of Songs of Austin musicians. Instead of the original 2 week visit, my first and only trip to USA extended much more. With the Knudsons we created quite a peculiar candidate for Eurovision Song Contest, which we submitted to Norway and Finland. Elizabeth is trained opera singer of Norwegian heritage, meanwhile her husband Chris has Swedish or maybe even Finnish ancestors.
The couple has just released their first duo album LightBody Sound
.

Mobirise
The flame of life inside me
was slowly turning cold
I feared the rest of my story
would stay forever untold.

I heard the wounded hero
cry out in the night
His song pierced deep inside me
I fell down from my flight

 Break away
  I am free
 Rise above
  I can see
See what you need to do

Waiting for lightning to strike you
Don't be afraid of the dark
  Even when you feel forsaken,
the flame can still light your spark

One step dispels the darkness
One step will turn the night
Love’s illumination
will see us through the fight

One kind act from a broken heart
heals a world that’s torn apart
Be the hero, hear the call,
rise above the world so small

Waiting for lightning to strike you
Don't be afraid of the dark
  Even when you feel forsaken,
the flame can still light your spark

I’ll fly you through the storm - take away all fear
when the night surrounds you - my love is always near
I will embrace the night  -  I will carry on
I will fight for love until the battle’s won

Waiting for lightning to strike you
Don't be afraid of the dark
  Even when you feel forsaken,
the flame can still light your spark
