Welcome Aboard  is some kind of 90's disco tune I submitted to Finnish ESC selection. This is partly the oldest sound material of the album, since my fantastic trio sang their parts in October 1999. Maria Eerola was the brilliant star of my Pinocchio musical, Kaisu Timonen my ex-bridesmaid, who competed with my song in Makfest festival in North Macedonia and MTV3 competition "Suomen tähti", Karina Ludina a shorter acquintance, whom I could find to tell about this release. Some Russian song in the next album then... I got a little bitter after 2 years seeing the Slovenian drag queens having the air hostess theme in the Eurovision and then in the Helsinki ESC the UK entry was a total "Airplane show". Sure, my intention was to make a cryptically multifaceted provocation for listener to try and understand. Obviously the juries didn't understand a bit.

Remember the closest exit might be behind you.
Should the cabin pressure accidentally drop, the oxygen masks will appear automatically.
Place the mask on your face like this. Help yourself before helping anyone else.

The lifevest is placed under your seat. Put it on like this.
Don’t you dare to fill it inside.

We wish you pleasant flight.

Welcome aboard. This is Planet Earth.
Carrying you between your death and birth.
Welcome aboard. This is Planet Earth.

This is your captain speaking. This is your captain speaking. This is your captain Spea King.

We are currently spinning around ourselves at the speed of about 1670 km per hour.
We are currently spinning around the sun at the speed of about 30 km per second.
Our system is spinning around the center of our galaxy at the speed of 250 km per second.
Our galaxy is probably moving away from the center at some very impressive speed, too.

We will reach our destiny eventually. Any time now.
The visibility is from excellent to poor, depending on how you look.

Welcome aboard. This is Planet Earth.
Carrying you between your death and birth.
Welcome aboard. This is Planet Earth.

Aria, mi manca l’aria
Voglio dell’aria, aprite la scatola
Per favore, aprite!

Welcome aboard. This is Planet Earth.
